How it works!
Event Dates are July 25th- 28th
Step 1: To register, select your desired passport from the "passport" tab. Click the registration link.
Step 2: Enter the required registration information, select, "get passport" then follow the provided directions to start exploring. If participating in multiple passports, you will sign up for each one individually. Remember, each passport you complete gives you another entry for the grand prize drawing. (Please see the Team and Solo Play Guidelines below)
Step 3: Starting July 25th, open the passport and begin exploring each location. In order to complete the passport, you must visit the designated number of locations within the passport.
*NOTE: The QR codes are not available until the start of the event.
Step 4: Each location has a unique QR code which needs to be scanned in order to check in at that particular location. Under each location in the passport, decipher the clues or follow the directions which will lead you to the QR code. Keep an eye out for the BONUS CHALLENGES which are worth additional entries for the grand prize.
*NOTE: if a given business is closed on the day you participate in the scavenger hunt, the QR code will be in the business' window.
Step 5: Keep an eye out for special promotional offers from the participating businesses. Any business offering a special Beverly 400+ promo will have the word PROMO written in blue just below the clue.
Step 6: Have fun!
Team & Solo Play Guidelines
Solo Participants: If you’re playing on your own, you may only work through one passport at a time. Once you complete a passport, you’re welcome to register for another and continue exploring.
Teams: If you’re participating as a team, you must stay together as you complete your passports. Team members may each register for different passports, allowing your group to work through multiple passports at the same time — but only as a team, together, at the same locations. Teams may not split up to complete passports individually.
This ensures the Discover Beverly experience stays collaborative, fair, and fun for everyone.
How the Bonus Challenges Work:
Keep your eyes open as you explore — some locations include special tasks marked with the red words “Bonus Challenge.” These Challenges are not required!
Whenever you spot a Bonus Challenge, follow the instructions listed under the location within the passport.
To receive credit, you’ll need to submit proof of each completed Bonus Challenge using this Google Form link. (Link Coming July 25th)
Every completed Bonus Challenge earns you one additional entry into the Discover Beverly Grand Prize Drawing, giving you even more chances to take home the ultimate Beverly bundle.
Keep your eyes peeled for special PROMO offers from some of our participating businesses!
These offers will be listed following the blue "PROMO" markers under the locations that are offering the promotion.
The promotion winners will be drawn at our culminating event at Backbeat Brewery on Wednesday, July 29th from 5-7pm.
All passports, with the exception of one, were designed to be walkable, and are all within walking distance of downtown Beverly. The only exception is the Citywide Challenge which does require additional transportation. For this reason, the citywide passport is worth additional entries for the grand prize.
